We had to be stricter in our selection, but these vintages have given the wines a touch of dynamism and verticality, which is wonderful. In 2018, we were able to reduce the extraction a bit more, and we increased the influence of wood in the first year of aging, especially our American oak (5%). Summer temperatures were normal for the season, and in conjunction with ample water reserves in the soil and good light conditions, the vineyard developed excellently, with a faster vine cycle.
