Both single malts of the \u003cstrong\u003eBunnahabhain 1992 PX Quarter Cask Twin Set\u003c\/strong\u003e were distilled on February 10, 1992, have \u003cstrong\u003ematured in comparable casks ever since\u003c\/strong\u003e – and, like human twins, have developed into two bottlings with \u003cstrong\u003etheir own distinct character\u003c\/strong\u003e. The whisky twins initially matured in whisky refill casks, the contents of which were combined in a PX Hogshead in 2004. In October 2018, the whisky was finally transferred to two PX Quarter Casks for its finish.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExclusively for the German market\u003c\/strong\u003e, the two twin casks were bottled into 65 and 67 high-quality, embossed bottles respectively – after almost 30 years of maturation at an enjoyable cask strength of 42% vol.
