Rodolphe Péters cultivates the 50-hectare estate, 40 of which are Grand Cru vineyards mainly around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger on the Côte des Blancs. Rodolphe Péters Champagnes are sold in around 70 countries. Rodolphe has long been a fan of the wines of Château de Beaucastel and is close to the Perrin family.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\"\u003cem\u003eThis project is first and foremost an artistic endeavor, because the creation of fine wines is a form of artistic creation\u003c\/em\u003e,\" explains the Famille Perrin. \"\u003cem\u003eWe have known Rodolphe Péters for many, many years and, like him, we have a passion for the great wines of the world. And yet, every time we tasted vintage rosé Champagne, we came to the same conclusion: We love the aromas that these great Champagnes develop with age, especially when they have high Chardonnay content. But unfortunately, heavy red wine aromas are often also found, which creates a conflict between harmony and grace. That's why we wanted to create a different kind of rosé Champagne, combining ripe Chardonnay grapes with young Pinot Noir grapes\u003c\/em\u003e.\"\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis blend of Chardonnay grapes of different ages makes up to 75% of the final blend of \u003cstrong\u003eFLEUR DE MIRAVAL\u003c\/strong\u003e. The remaining 25% comes from young Pinot Noir grapes, which gives the Champagne its subtle, pink color. Its lively notes of red currant and red raspberry support the delicate minerality, salinity, and iodized expression of the Chardonnay grapes.
