The red wine from Château Grand-Puy Lacoste is a Pauillac made from Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon from the 2018 vintage. The fourth dimension of Grand-Puy-Lacoste is time. It is inherently a long-lived wine and needs between eight and ten years to reach its full potential, combining power and harmony.
Taste:
The 2018 Château Grand-Puy Lacoste has a very deep crimson color. The nose is very clean, complex, subtle and refined. The aromas confirm and amplify the sensations perceived on the nose, especially with a wide range of fruity notes, among which blackcurrant blossoms with age. The wines have integrity, their tannin structure is powerful yet silky.
Production:
Château Grand-Puy Lacoste 2018 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 21-28 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrel and matures for 14-16 months in small French oak barrels before bottling.

Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and spicy cheese.
