Colour: Deep ruby red
Nose: Rich nose with notes of juniper, elderberry, and mulberry. Rich, dense, sweet, but also quite straightforward. Licorice, an incredible amount of eucalyptus, and then floral notes of lavender and rose petals. Incredibly fragrant.
Taste: Absolutely convincing on the palate with a silky, caressing tannin structure and an intense red berry fruit texture.
DESCRIPTION
2020 brought generous rainfall to the vines during the growing season, as well as drought and warmth during the ripening and harvest periods.
These were almost ideal conditions for producing rich and complex grapes. Remarkably well-structured, always elegant, fresh, and unfailingly long on the palate.
A wine with good aging potential.

The 2020 Château d‘Armailhac, Pauillac 5ème Cru Classé matures in oak barrels.
The vintage contains 59% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc, and 3% Petit Verdot
TASTING
The deep ruby red 2020 d‘Armailhac impresses with aromas of juicy dark cherries, alongside blackberries, mulberries,
all underpinned by cedarwood and licorice nuances. Also very approachable on the palate, this Pauillac offers great pleasure with rich ripe fruit, plenty of spice, and a good,
very harmonious structure.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve at 16-18 °C with game dishes, beef goulash, red meat, and strong cheeses.
