2021 CLOS BEAUREGARD WOODEN CASE - Pomerol

The terroir of Clos Beauregard, neighboring the renowned Château La Conseillante, borders the estate of Château Beauregard, to which it belonged until 1947. It is located on the sandy foothills of the Pomerol plateau. The Pomerol appellation is the smallest appellation of the great Bordeaux wines, located northeast of Libourne on a terrace above the Isle, a river that flows into the Dordogne. Unlike the Graves and Saint-Émilion wines, the Pomerol appellation was not included in the 1885 classification. Nevertheless, it is
one of the most prestigious and renowned appellations in Bordeaux and produces some of the best Bordeaux wines. Since 2011, Clos Beauregard has partnered with winemaker Michel Rolland and his team to optimize the potential of its terroir.

This Bordeaux is subtle, elegant, and complex. From the heart of the Cotes de Bourg appellation. The fruit is expressive thanks to the gravelly soils. Traditional production: The grapes are harvested at full ripeness and undergo alcoholic fermentation for 1-2 weeks.

Color: Deep crimson color with violet reflections.
Nose: The nose is complex, and the intense spicy and fruity bouquet reveals notes of blueberry and coffee.
Palate: On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious, and develops long-lasting notes of blackberry jam.
