The exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon cask (French oak) gave this Hyde whiskey such wonderful aromas that the decision was quickly made. Expressive notes of vanilla, red berries and red fruit compote, as well as a nice spiciness, offer a wonderfully fruity taste experience.
The cask yielded 400 bottles, which are individually numbered.
Nose: Honey, sweet apple, toffee and butterscotch.
Palate: Creamy texture, spices with velvety caramel, dark chocolate and vanilla.
Finish: An initial burst of sweetness transitions into complex notes of citrus fruits and spices.
