Kirsch Import & Wu Dram Clan bring Fillioux Cognac from 1955/1960
Nose: Fresh bergamot, roasted almond, corn sugar, fully ripe quince and fatty leather, along with licorice and spice.
Palate: Lavish maple syrup transitions to elderflower and very woody notes of fresh moss and porcini mushrooms. Overripe apricot, fresh mango and passion fruit are added, as well as a spicy panorama of cinnamon, clove and cardamom, licorice, allspice, ginger and orange zest.
Finish: Layers of caramel, cinnamon, cola nut and orange liqueur.
