- Nose: Ashy peat smoke with leafy, vegetal tones, rosemary and light pine needles, then brined olives, walnuts and citrus; asphalt and popcorn in the background.
- Palate: Warming, rather restrained smoke with hints of burnt rubber and liquorice, then almonds, toffee and baked apple; later drier and saltier, with herbs, walnut and green apple.
- Finish: Long and salty, with lemon, plenty of dry ash and a hint of sourish ground coffee beans.

2023 Kilchoman Fino Sherry Cask Matured
The Kilchoman Fino Sherry Matured was aged for at least five years in 20 Fino sherry casks, previously hand-selected by Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. The maturation in ex-Fino sherry casks gives the malt minerality, notes of oak and maple syrup, which combine wonderfully with Kilchoman's natural citrus sweetness and maritime peat smoke.
