Aroma: A hint of cocoa with an essence of leather, black cherry and light smoke.
Taste: Roasted hazelnuts, dark chocolate, and roasted dark fruits yield to light, ashy peat smoke.

The Loch Gorm Limited Edition 2023 was matured in 22 Oloroso sherry butts sourced from the renowned Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin, from which Glenfarclas also obtains its famous sherry casks. The exceptionally intense sherry aromas from the full maturation in the Bodega's casks give the whisky a full-bodied and fruity character that wonderfully combines with the classic Kilchoman peat smoke and citrus notes. For the 2023 edition, Anthony Wills and Robin Bignal selected a total of 22 casks. Of these, eight casks were distilled in 2013, six distilled in 2014, and eight in 2015.
