Nose: The nose reveals notes of gentle wisps of smoke, leather-bound books and sticky toffee pudding.
Palate: The familiar rich and dirty character of the 8 year old Kilkerran Sherry series is evident. Thick date syrup, blackcurrants, cherries, redcurrants and a maritime coastal flavour.
Finish: As the whisky continues to develop, notes of ashy medicinal smoke, ginger and chocolate oranges emerge.
