Nose: Sweet, sooty peat smoke kicks off this malt, reminiscent of roasting marshmallows over a bonfire on the beach. This is joined by a maritime influence typical of Campbeltown whisky, with notes of salt and fishing boats.
Taste: It is a complex whisky that tastes beyond its age. The peat smoke dominates with malty undertones of crushed digestif biscuits. A liquorice note develops as it opens up, and there's a hint of sweetness, like sticky honey glaze.
Finish: Hints of red fruit and mineral notes complete this malt.
