The Old Ballantruan 15 y.o. flows into the elegant bottles with a radiant golden hue. After 15 years in oak casks, it balances crisp peat smoke with sweet, creamy notes, before the sweetness in the finish is increasingly replaced by heavy smoke. Flint and peat smoke, toffee sweetness and herbal notes, creaminess and oak spice – the Old Ballantruan 15 y.o. is perhaps the most complex bottling in the series. Its intense, yet balanced aromas are due to 15 years of maturation in selected oak casks.
