- Palate: Soft and creamy with syrupy molasses sweetness; then plenty of vanilla, spice, fig jam, desiccated coconut and banana chips, and the matchstick note returns too.
- Finish: Of medium length, somewhat dry and peppery; the remaining sweetness gives way to cocoa powder and oak spice.
