After maturing in a refill bourbon for 9 years in a bourbon cask, we then transferred it to a 2nd-fill bourbon cask (previously used for the finish of an exceptional Longmorn 2013). Less a finish, more a gradual layering of fresh fruit flavours, with delicate Tullibardine notes.
Colour: Butterscotch Gold.
Nose: Fresh pear, lemon sorbet, and lush grass.
Palate: Crisp green apple, roasted chestnut, and kiwi fruit.
Finish: Sparkling citrus and orchard fruits dance on the tongue.
Summary: Orchard fruits and sweetness/nut.
