DESCRIPTION
The 2013 Granja Remelluri presents itself in a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, an expressive bouquet of ripe dark fruits unfolds, set against aromas of smoky, spicy, and mineral notes.
DEVELOPMENT
The 2013 Granja Remelluri Grande Reserva matured 100% in oak barrels.
The vintage contains 70% Tempranillo, 20% Garnacha, and 10% Graciano.
TASTING NOTES
After opening, fine notes of mint and licorice become noticeable with increasing aeration. On the palate, an impressive balance of power, suppleness, and precision unfolds: the fruitiness of dark forest berries, strong roasted aromas, and delicate herbal spice are effortlessly carried by the sweet, ripe tannins.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve at 13-18 °C with game poultry, beef goulash, red meat, fine cheeses.
