As a grand wine of the estate, the Château Chasse Spleen 2022 reveals the expression of the Haut-Médoc terroir.
Taste:
The 2022 Château Chasse Spleen is purple in color. On the nose, the wine reveals aromas of roses, cherries, blackcurrants, and ripe blackberries, along with delicate notes of chocolate, tobacco, and nuts. On the palate, it is voluminous and supple with velvety tannins, which at this stage are marked by new wood. Persistent and fruity length. A wine with great aging potential.
Production:
Château Chasse Spleen 2022 was produced with the utmost respect for the fruit and the terroir. For winemaking, the grapes are hand-picked and carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place over 25-28 days in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation in barrels and ages for up to 12 months in new French oak before bottling.

Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry, and strong cheeses.
