"La Cuvée" is a delicate, fresh champagne that matures for a long time in the cellars of LAURENT-PERRIER. The high proportion of Chardonnay is the foundation of Laurent-Perrier's style and personality. Purity, freshness, and elegance are the characteristics of this champagne. It is the perfect introduction to the house's style.
DESCRIPTION
For the "La Cuvée" assemblage, primarily the best grapes of the Chardonnay (more than 50%), Pinot Noir (30 to 35%) and Meunier (10 to 15%) varieties are used, from over 100 sites selected by Laurent-Perrier. The maturation period in the cellars is approximately 4 years.
TASTING NOTES
Fine rising bubbles form a persistent ring of foam. Delicate bouquet of fresh citrus fruits and white flowers. The wine's complexity is revealed in successive notes of vine peach and white fruits. Perfect balance between freshness and finesse with expressive fruit aromas on the finish.
SERVING SUGGESTION
This fresh and clear wine is ideal as an aperitif. Its notes of citrus and white fruits and its remarkable balance, supported by the subtle bubbles, make it an ideal accompaniment to poultry and fine fish.
