In a modern world without borders, reflecting on origins, traditions, and old values can be a welcome contrast. This is a philosophy that guides the independent Kilchoman Distillery, owned by the Wills family, on the Scottish Hebridean island of Islay – one of the most legendary whisky regions, captivating with its rugged beauty and vast sandy beaches. In 2005, Anthony Wills was the first founder of a distillery on the Isle of Islay in 124 years, with a visionary goal: to revive the original craftsmanship of "farm distilling." To this day, the soils around the Kilchoman community serve as the basis for his own barley cultivation, as does the quality of the incomparable Islay peat, shaped by the Atlantic. All of this contributes to Kilchoman's uniqueness today. With the 100% Islay Range, the products represent the only Islay Single Malt Whisky that is produced "From Barley to Bottle" – from barley to bottle – on-site and exclusively using traditional craftsmanship.
