Matusalem Oloroso Sherry VORS

After Pedro Ximénez (or PX for short), Cream is the sweetest and darkest Sherry style. Harveys of Bristol is considered its inventor, having conceived Cream Sherry in the mid-20th century as a commercial, artificially sweetened style for the predominantly sweet-toothed British market. But there is also a precious, delicious noble variant of this style: González Byass' 30-year-old Matusalem Cream VORS, which owes its sweetness exclusively to high-quality, traditionally sun-dried Pedro Ximénez, thereby achieving a depth of color and aromatic concentration that no commercial Cream Sherry could ever possess.
