3,500 Bottles Starward Stout Cask. This limited release combines the best of craft brewing and distilling. For this, Starward allowed whisky matured in characteristic red wine casks to further mature for 18 months in stout casks that previously held a favorite beer from Melbourne's Brick Lane Brewery. Their award-winning stouts are characterized by robust flavors, which the single malt generously embraced. The result is a whisky unlike anything Starward has ever made before – and tastes of cocoa, stone fruit, roasted malt, chocolate, and vanilla.
