Nose: Very balanced and sweet, extinguished campfire, ripe plums, honeyed malt and creamy toffee, dark chocolate and vanilla.
Palate: Smoky-spicy and sweetly aromatic: The distillery character of pepper, a maritime smoky note and spices is skillfully complemented by the port casks: Dark fruits, berries, cherries and plums.
Finish: Long, memorable and full-bodied, an appealing, intensely cocoa-like, dry smoke aroma remains on the tongue.
