Wolfburn "Let it snow" is a marriage of lightly peated distillate from Fresh Bourbon and Refill Quarter Casks, bottled at 46% ABV, festively dressed, and perfect as an "After Dinner Malt."
Limited to 2,000 bottles.
Nose: Fresh sea air meets vibrant heather blossoms, overlaid with a hint of peat smoke. Promising.
Palate: Sultanas and dates, syrup and honey. The sweetness is unusually deep, and with time, new aromas unfold. A touch of marzipan evokes - fittingly - memories of Christmas pastries.
Finish: The sweet notes linger until the end, with soft heather honey transitioning into warm caramel. Delicious.
