The Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Nuits overlooks the Côte de Nuits, west of the Corton forests above Gevrey-Chambertin.
The vineyards are located between 300 and 400 meters above sea level. The Pinot Noir grapes thrive on fertile limestone soil that contains some marl and clay.
DESCRIPTION
The 2019 Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir captivates with ripe fruit aromas and spices.
DEVELOPMENT
Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel vats. Pre-fermentation cold maceration at approx. 8 °C. Aging on fine lees for 10 months in oak barrels, used between 1 and 5 times.
TASTING NOTES
On the palate, the 2019 Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Pinot Noir is delicate and aromatic, underpinned by fine tannins.
Balanced and broad, this wine offers a beautiful aromatic intensity and a fresh finish.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Serve at 14-15 °C with white meats such as rabbit, but also lamb and duck and grilled meats. Medium-strength cheeses: Camembert, Saint Paulin, Morbier, Reblochon…
