Bonnezeaux 2010 – Château de Fesles
The Bonnezeaux 2010 from Château de Fesles is an exquisite sweet wine from the renowned Bonnezeaux AOC in the Loire. Composed of 100% Chenin Blanc, this wine impresses with its complexity, freshness, and long aging potential.
Vinification and Aging:
The grapes are hand-picked in 5 to 7 selective passes. After 10 to 12 hours of skin contact, the wine is fermented in 400-liter oak barrels for 1 to 2 months. It then ages for 10 to 15 months in the barrels, which imparts complex aromas and an elegant texture to the wine.
Sensory Characteristics:
- Color: Pale yellow with green reflections, reflecting its freshness and youthfulness.
- Nose: A promising bouquet with aromas of wood, spices, grilled notes, and candied lemon peel.
- Palate: The wine starts sweet and soft, but develops into a complex, full-bodied experience with exotic fruit flavors and a long, lingering texture.
Recommended Serving Temperature:
The Bonnezeaux 2010 should be served at 12°C to allow its aromas to unfold optimally.
Perfect Food Pairing:
