Crafted from 48% Sauvignon Blanc and 52% Sémillon, the Château Cantelys Pessac-Léognan Blanc 2022 originates from 32-year-old vines rooted in fawn sandy soils over Villafranchian gravel. The vineyard employs traditional ploughing methods and green initiatives such as suckering and leaf thinning to optimize quality. Winemaking involves gentle extraction and fermentation in wood, with 30% of the wine aged in new barrels and 70% in one or two-use barrels. This meticulous process results in a refined wine with a limited production of only 15,000 bottles.
