Producer & Appellation
Made by Domaine de Terres Blanches (Saget family) from about 13 ha of Sauvignon Blanc planted on the terraces above the Loire, near Bonny-sur-Loire. These gravelly clay-limestone soils are part of the AOP Coteaux du Giennois - directly south of the Sancerre region.
The "Alchimie Blanc" cuvée is bottled from this plot and produced biodynamically/organically.
Vinification & Vintage (2023)
Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc, harvested and vinified with precision: cold settling, followed by 20 days of thermo-regulated fermentation in stainless steel.
After fermentation, the wine is aged on fine lees in stainless steel for 4-6 months to build texture and preserve aromatic freshness.
Food Pairings & Serving
Serve chilled at 8-10°C to maximize aromas and freshness.
Food pairing suggestions:
Perfect as an aperitif or starter.
Pairs well with fish terrines, cheese tarts, seafood, and goat cheese (especially lightly aged).
Also pairs well with fresh vegetables or light summer salads and grilled white fish.
