The Open Special Edition 2023 was created to celebrate the 151st Open at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in England. The malt for this bottling was distilled in both Loch Lomond's unique Straight Neck Pot Stills and the more traditional Swan Neck Pot Stills, then matured in American oak casks to produce the characteristic style of fruit, honey and gentle smoke that is so typical of Loch Lomond Single Malt Whiskies.

Nose: Floral notes of roses, berries, peach, and pear.
Palate: Red berries and orchard fruits. Raspberry and peach, creamy vanilla, and dark chocolate.
Finish: Medium length, a hint of smoke gives way to lingering fruit notes.
