Color: Bright, clear salmon color with silver reflections.
Nose: The nose is intense, emphasized by aromas of citrus and grapefruit, combined with great minerality.
Palate: Straightforward and distinctly fresh on the palate, this rosé wine offers beautiful minerality and - thanks to the citrus fruits - fruity notes. The finish is soft and fresh.
Terroir: The wine is grown on sandy-loam soils of bauxite, which gives it a red color, hence the name of the commune, Châteauneuf-le-Rouge.
Winemaking: Upon arrival at the vat room, the grapes are gently pressed in pneumatic presses. Only the first and clearest juices are kept for rosé production. A tight cut is essential to obtain fine and delicate aromas. Fermentation takes place at 14°C over several days. The temperature then gradually increases to 20°C during fermentation. Fermentation takes place on fine lees in stainless steel tanks for 3 months.
