2021 Pinot Blanc Dry White Wine • GLATT • Quality Wine from Kaiserstuhl/Baden, Germany

This German Pinot Blanc white wine (Ital.: Pinot Bianco, Fr.: Pinot Blanc) from Kaiserstuhl, in the Baden wine region, captivates lovers of full-bodied dry wines with its fruity, piquant taste, its acidity of 6.0 g/l, and its long finish. Aromas of pineapple and banana, as well as the wine's mineral structure, ensure an excellent drinking experience. The fruity, full-bodied vine presents itself balanced and rich on the palate, reminiscent of notes of quince and citrus fruits. This white wine is best enjoyed lightly chilled at 8-12 degrees Celsius. The clear, bright yellow color and the brilliance the wine displays in the glass also visually complement the overall impression.

Viticulture Note:
The fertile cultivation area in the Upper Rhine Plain offers excellent conditions for viticulture. Protected from harsh winds on both sides, by the Black Forest massif on one hand and the Vosges on the other, an almost Mediterranean climate prevails here.
The volcanic rock in the soil, covered with a loess-loam layer, does the rest to provide an optimal home for the grapes grown here.
In the midst of this paradise for winegrowers, on the southwestern slope of the Kaiserstuhl, lies the municipality of Ihringen. Ihringen, with its district Wasenweiler, is among other things home to one of the largest local winegrowers' cooperatives and numerous other respected wineries.
