Producer & Terroir
The Domaine de Terres Blanches winery, which belongs to the Saget family's estates in Bué-en-Sancerre and Amigny, covers ~13.5 hectares planted with Sauvignon Blanc on chalky "caillottes" and "terres blanches" soils.
In collaboration with consultant Stéphane Derenoncourt, the wines are focused on purity, minerality, and expression of the terroir to produce fresh, structured, and gastronomically appealing wines.
Pairs with:
Classic Loire pairings - goat cheese like Crottin de Chavignol
Shellfish and seafood (oysters, scallops, sushi)
Light fish, salads, asparagus, and delicately spiced dishes. The wine's citrus-mineral axis and moderate weight allow it to pair with a variety of seafood and white meats.
