To embody the harmony of the prestigious La Grande Dame 2015 champagne, Veuve Clicquot has collaborated with the renowned Italian artist Paola Paronetto, who conveys a profound message of optimism through colours and textures.

Paola's unique understanding of colour is at the heart of the sophisticated gift box GRIGIO BLU SCURO – one of six collector's editions in shades from Paola's own colour collection, inspired by nature and expressing optimism.

BLEND AND ORIGIN:
An exceptional Pinot vintage in an outstanding year. The 2015 season in Champagne was very warm, with low rainfall and plenty of sunshine, resulting in concentrated and structured wines. Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 is made from a thoughtful blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, grown in eight historic Grand Cru sites. The vineyards – Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Aÿ, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger – are among the most prestigious in the region.

Taste:
On the palate, more complex aromas emerge: dried apricot, hazelnuts, honey and candied sugar. Silky textures give the wine personality, elegance and character. The depth and power developed through aging.

Colour: 
A beautiful, golden colour with bright bubbles.

Aroma: 
The nose initially reveals notes of white flowers such as jasmine, honeysuckle and vine flowers, followed by fruitier nuances of apple, pear and peach. Some notes of freshly cut almonds and frangipane cream complete the bouquet.
