A lively rosé sparkling wine from the Jura, deliberately made to be enjoyed over ice cubes – the "ICE" line from François Montand brings the classic Méthode Traditionnelle into a summery, slightly sweet format.

Taste
In colour, the wine is a brilliant rosé. On the nose, it presents itself as complex, fragrant and fruity. On the palate, it remains balanced and fruity, carried by the Demi-Sec dosage, which gives the wine a subtle, pleasant sweetness without seeming intrusive.

Production
The wine is made using the Méthode Traditionnelle – the classic bottle fermentation that is also used in Champagne. After the second fermentation in the bottle, the cuvée matures for at least 9 months on the lees (sur lattes), which explains the fine, persistent perlage and the aromatic depth. It is a non-vintage cuvée, designed to be enjoyed straight away – ideally drunk young and fresh.

Pairs with
A classic as an aperitif, but also a good choice with desserts. Served at 6–8 °C, it shows its freshness at its best – and, as part of the "ICE" series, it is also expressly intended to be served over ice cubes, for instance on balmy summer evenings or as an uncomplicated cocktail base.

In context
François Montand stands for accessible traditional-method sparkling wines from the Jura – crafted with artisanal care, but positioned at a considerably more affordable price point than classic Champagne. The ICE line picks up on a trend inspired by well-known Demi-Sec cuvées and makes it accessible as a stand-alone, uncomplicated product.
