The Williamson 2011/2023 is a Blended Malt Scotch Whisky from the Isle of Islay. It was named after the former owner of its original distillery, Elizabeth Leitch "Bessie" Williamson, secretary to the last and childless descendant of the founding Johnston family.
After 12 years in a sherry cask, this bottling harmoniously combines phenolic peat smoke and maritime notes, characteristic of its famous home distillery, with dark fruit notes, brown sugar, and nutty hints.
