The BRUT TRADITION from Lichtenwald Frères is made in collaboration with the grower house SCEV Marc Chauvet from Rilly-la-Montagne in Champagne — the same family winery that has been growing Champagne since the 16th century and is now run by winemaker Clotilde Chauvet and her brother Nicolas. The house's timeless classic captivates with its fruitiness and freshness and, thanks to its consistent taste, is suited to any celebration.
Taste
A classic, round, balanced and harmonious Champagne that perfectly showcases its fruitiness and invigorating citrus notes. The bouquet reveals fruity, fresh aromas of citrus fruit, honey and butter brioche.
Production
The cuvée is made from a classic assemblage of the three Champagne grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, one third each. 70% comes from the 2020 harvest, 30% from reserve wines — older wines from previous vintages that have been set aside and are deliberately added to secure the characteristic, consistent house style regardless of vintage variation.
Pairs with
Ideal as an aperitif or in combination with Parmesan, tomato carpaccio, salty starters
