Description: This German Pinot Noir Rosé wine from Baden impresses with its subtly mineral taste and is an excellent choice, especially for lovers of dry wines. The subtly fruity varietal appears round and harmonious on the palate and delights with a velvety soft finish. The strawberry-red color and the full impression the wine makes in the glass also visually complement the experience.
Terroir/Climate: The fertile growing region in the Upper Rhine Plain boasts excellent conditions for viticulture. Protected on both sides by the Black Forest massif and the Vosges mountains from harsh east winds, an almost Mediterranean climate prevails here. The volcanic rock in the soil, covered with a loess-loam layer, does the rest to provide an optimal home for the grapes grown here. In the midst of this paradise for winemakers lies the municipality of Ihringen on the southwest slope of the Kaiserstuhl. Ihringen, with its district of Wasenweiler, is home to one of the largest local winegrowers' cooperatives and numerous other respected wineries. We are a proud part of this unique wine-growing region and are delighted to bring you closer to the tradition and culture of our area with our wines.
Serving Suggestion: Best served with roast or game, or a cheese platter.
