  • The Nose: Dry spirits and breathtaking pear drops come to the fore before settling down to sweet oak and a hint of Oloroso sherry.
  • Palate: Delicate oak, immediately transitioning into rich chocolate and vanilla, with an undefinable floral note hiding behind the vanilla. A hint of salty peanuts. A gentle sensation, almost like a fizz, awakening the senses, playful and fun.
  • Finish: A complex, long-lasting finish. The start is short but wonderfully powerful, with spices, pepper and liquorice, and bitter oak. Honey and spices linger after everything else has faded, before they too drift away, allowing a brief but powerful resurgence of liquorice, gentian and honey.
