- Colour: A radiant golden colour; when poured, a lively and abundant mousse with fine bubbles on the glass. The wine is clear and brilliant.
- Nose: The first nose shows lovely ripeness, with aromas of dried fruit underpinned by a fine biscuit note. With aeration, notes of yellow fruit emerge, led by apricot. On the finish, a trace of spicy lemon drop.
- Palate: The attack on the palate is supple and lively at the same time. This duality is confirmed in a balance between ripeness and remaining freshness. A Brut for lovers of wines that combine perfect ripeness with pleasant freshness.
- Pairs with: Pork, Shellfish, Rich fish (salmon, tuna etc.), Mild soft cheese
The TEN21 evokes the Côte d'Azur, with lively lemon and cherry trees, rounded off by the sweet note of shortbread.
Vibrant yet graceful, this finely sparkling champagne is perfect for those who appreciate maturity, freshness, and first-class finesse.
In honor of De Watère's 10th anniversary in 2021 (expressed in the names "TEN" and "21"). In addition to the iconic blue and white TEN21 Special Edition, this bottle features an elegant, minimalist design that suits any occasion.
TEN21 is made exclusively from the Cuvée of equal parts Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and receives a low dosage of only 7.9 grams, which helps the flavors to combine and come into their own. Comparable to a chef adding only the smallest pinch of salt.
The TEN21 typically matures for 2 to 3 years in chalk caves under the hills of Champagne.
