2017 Château Léoville Poyferré - Saint Julien 2ème Cru Classé
Taste:
The 2017 Léoville Poyferré has a beautifully defined bouquet of mineral-laced red fruit that is very refined and focused, a wine that looks as if it will be ready to drink before the unruly 2016. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins.
Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry and strong cheese.
The wine is a blend of 68% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot.
