Pomerol simply wouldn't be Pomerol without La Conseillante at its heart. With its unique geographical location on the Catusseau plateau, the La Conseillante vineyard covers various nuances of soil type. The wine offers very good aging potential.

Taste:
The Château La Conseillante 2018 has a very deep purple-red color and comes with energetic notes of wild blueberries, chocolate-covered cherries
and warm black plums, as well as a hint of lilac, cardamom and cloves. Medium to full-bodied, it fills the mouth with elegant black fruits and earthy layers, framed by soft, velvety tannins and just enough freshness and minerality, which extends into a long finish.

Production:
After manual harvesting, the grapes are selected. Fermentation and maceration took place classically at controlled temperature for 12 to 15 days. After malolactic fermentation, the best wines for the Château La Conseillante 2018 blend were selected and aged in oak barrels for 18 - 20 months. The aging contributes to the development of the wine, gently oxygenating and refining it.

Serving suggestion:
Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb and spicy cheese.
