This Brut Millésimé 2015 from Laurent-Perrier comes from an exceptional year and is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes from the Côte des Blancs and Pinot Noir grapes from the Montagne de Reims.
It is a rare and outstanding wine that expresses the character of a vintage year in the Laurent-Perrier style.
DESCRIPTION
The year 2015 was characterized by extreme weather conditions: a mild and rainy winter, preceded by a contrasting
spring with a cold spell, followed by great heat in a stormy summer. The cool and dry September allowed for ideal grape ripening.
TASTING NOTES
The nose is complex, combining floral citrus aromas with delicious notes of hawthorn, followed by aromas of toasted bread and oranges. The attack is lively and delicate.
On the palate, it subtly combines a beautiful minerality with delicious grapefruit flavors.
SERVING SUGGESTION
Brut Millésimé 2015 pairs well with sea bass in a herb crust or roasted chicken with citrus fruits, as well as scallop carpaccio with citrus fruits.
