LAVANDA, a striking pastel shade from Italian artist Paola Paronetto's personal color palette, is one of six colors selected by the artist to express the optimism and emotion of Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015. The box is part of a symphony of colors that reflects the harmony of the bottle, and has been sustainably produced to reflect the Maison's commitment to the environment. It is 100% reusable and recyclable, and is made from a blend of hemp, cotton, and FSC-certified pulp.

ASSEMBLAGE AND ORIGIN:
An exceptional Pinot vintage in an outstanding year. The 2015 season in Champagne was very warm, with low rainfall and plenty of sunshine, resulting in concentrated and structured wines. Veuve Clicquot La Grande Dame 2015 is made from a thoughtful blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, grown in eight historic Grand Cru sites. The vineyards – Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, Bouzy, Aÿ, Avize, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger – are among the most prestigious in the region.

Taste:
On the palate, more complex aromas emerge: dried apricot, hazelnuts, honey, and candied sugar. Silky textures give the wine personality, elegance, and character. The depth and power were created by aging.

Color: 
A beautiful, golden color with bright pearls.

Aroma: 
On the nose, notes of white flowers such as jasmine, honeysuckle, and vine flowers first appear, followed by fruitier nuances of apple, pear, and peach. Some notes of freshly cut almonds and frangipani cream complete the bouquet.
