ASSEMBLAGE
The year 2014 was a year of turbulent weather conditions in Champagne, with alternating periods of hot and dry, and cool and rainy weather. The grapes developed well under these conditions and the changeable weather preserved the freshness in the region. Krug Grande Cuvée 172ème Édition is an assemblage of 195 wines from 12 different years. The youngest is from 2014, the oldest from 1998. Made from 51% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay, and 11% Meunier.
