The Mundus Rosé from Adega da Vermelha – a charming, versatile representative of modern Portuguese wine culture for warm summer evenings.

The Mundus Rosé from the Adega Cooperativa da Vermelha is an elegant, uncomplicated rosé wine from Portugal that combines freshness with a harmonious, approachable character. As an IGP Lisboa, it stands for modern Portuguese wine culture – a rosé with a finely judged balance of fruit, freshness and lightness, equally suited to a relaxed evening on the terrace and as a versatile partner for food.

Taste
In the glass, the Mundus Rosé shows a bright, delicate rosé hue with brilliant reflections. The bouquet delights with aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries and redcurrants, accompanied by fine floral nuances and a subtle citrus note. On the palate it is fruity, fresh and balanced: the juicy berry flavours combine with a pleasant acidic structure that gives the wine liveliness. The finish is soft, harmonious and refreshing.

Production
The Mundus Rosé is produced by the Adega Cooperativa da Vermelha, a cooperative winery founded in 1963 in Vermelha (municipality of Cadaval) in the Lisboa wine region. The winery is one of Portugal's leading producers of so-called "Vinhos Leves" (light, approachable wines) and has made a name for itself under the Mundus brand for fresh, uncomplicated styles of wine.

Pairs with
Light salads, Mediterranean dishes, fish, seafood, pasta, tapas and grilled vegetables – also an excellent choice with antipasti or as an uncomplicated wine for convivial evenings on the terrace. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.

In context
As an IGP Lisboa (Indicação Geográfica Protegida, the Portuguese equivalent of the French IGP classification), the Mundus Rosé bears the protected indication of origin of the Lisboa wine region.
