Information about the Waterford Distillery:
Ireland's southeast is sunny and spoiled by the warmth of the Gulf Stream. Moderate, humid air blows over fertile soils, creating a lush green landscape – and perhaps some of the best barley in the world. At least that's what Waterford is striving for. The Waterford Distillery is a very young distillery, established in 2016. Its goal is to revive the old way of Irish whiskey distillation.
