Quinta is the name of the Portuguese winery from which the port casks originate, in which this Glenmorangie is aged. Ruban is the Gaelic word for ruby and refers to the ruby red colour that is imparted to the whisky by this post-maturation. After 10 years of storage in former Bourbon casks, it spends another four years in former Port wine casks.
