DESCRIPTION
The 2017 Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Collection Savigny les Beaume 1er Cru Aux Gravains Chardonnay is characterized by aromas of ripe tropical fruits such as lychees, juicy pineapple, ripe bananas, and sun-drenched kumquat.
DEVELOPMENT
Traditional vinification in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks. Cold maceration under carbon dioxide to protect the aromas and colors. Matured for 16 - 22 months in oak barrels.
TASTING NOTES
On the palate, the 2017 Domaine Maldant Pauvelot Collection Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru Aux Gravains Chardonnay is well balanced between minerality and fruitiness. Subtle oak notes leave the wine's power on the palate.
