Aroma and Taste:
The color is bright ruby red, transparent, and without the cloudiness so typical of 2018. The 2018 Cheval Blanc presents a powerful and pleasant nose, dominated by floral and fruity notes reminiscent of raspberries and violets.. After aeration, the fruit becomes more intense with aromas of black cherries, blackberries, and blackcurrants. Balsamic and spicy notes complete the already complex nose with aromas of cocoa beans and black pepper. The attack on the palate begins full-bodied, rich, and voluminous, and continues into an endless finish that retains its freshness.. An impressive balance of silky tannins and barely perceptible acidity. The length is impressive with freshness and great complexity.
The still young 2018 Cheval Blanc is a powerful, elegant, and harmonious wine that can develop over several decades.

The 2018 Cheval Blanc Saint-Émilion Grand Cru was aged in 100% new oak barrels.
The vintage contains 54% Cabernet Franc, 40% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon
