Château Le Gay has enormous potential and excellent terroir.
Taste:
Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Le Gay opens with fragrant notions of lavender, baked plums and blueberry compote, leading to hints of red roses and
spice cake. Full-bodied, concentrated and decadently fruity, it has a firm backbone of rounded tannins and a lovely freshness, finishing long.
Production:
After manual harvesting, the grapes are selected. Fermentation and maceration took place classically at controlled temperatures over 12 to 15 days. After malolactic fermentation, the best wines were selected for the assemblage of Château Le Gay 2018 and aged for 18 - 20 months in oak barrels. The aging contributes to the wine's development, gently enriching it with oxygen and refining it.

Ideal with grilled meat, game, lamb, poultry and spicy cheese.
