The Tenuta Tignanello growing area is located in the heart of Chianti Classico on the rolling hills between the Greve and Pesa valleys (Tuscany).
The Antinori family, one of the oldest and most respected wine producers in the world, has lived in Tuscany since the 14th century and celebrated their 625th anniversary as winemakers in 2010. Aroma and Taste:
The Solaia 2004 presents itself in an intense ruby red color. The nose is dominated by good fruit aromas without an excessive hint of oak. After opening, fine notes of mint and licorice become noticeable with increasing oxygenation. The Solaia 2004 is of classic style and shows a pleasant taste harmony on the palate, characterized by the right acid-tannin balance and excellent fruit enjoyment. Great personality and a long-lasting presence of the aftertaste make the finish absolutely complex and persistent.

Aging:
The 2004 Antinori Solaia was not chaptalized and matured in 100% oak barrels.
The vintage contains 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc.
